Proud to Support Local Organizations Who Keep Animals Safe and Sound

Subaru Loves Pets in Delray Beach

Pets are part of the family, and Subaru Loves Pets supports the rescue, adoption and health of animals. At Schumacher Subaru of Delray, our community commitment connects drivers in Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and Boca Raton with ways to learn more and get involved.

Our October 2026 Subaru Loves Pets initiative

The national campaign runs October 1-31, 2026. Delray's published event page identifies Big Dog Ranch Rescue as our local partner, with direct funding through a grant administered by the ASPCA to help prepare animals for adoption and support veterinary expenses.

October 22 is National Make A Dog's Day. Consider adopting, fostering or supporting older animals and animals with disabilities. Contact the organization directly about its current needs and adoption process.

Choosing a Subaru for life with your pet

Bring your carrier measurements and a list of your everyday needs when comparing vehicles. During your visit, check:

• The rear-door opening and cargo area against your pet carrier's dimensions.
• The loading height and access your pet needs, including room for an appropriate ramp if needed.
• Space for passengers, the carrier and everyday cargo together.
• Compatible pet accessories and their installation instructions for the exact model year and trim.

Secure pets appropriately for travel and follow the restraint or carrier manufacturer's instructions. A cargo tray or seat protector helps protect surfaces; it is not a substitute for a suitable pet restraint.
