The redesigned 2026 Subaru Outback brings updated technology and a choice of engines to Subaru’s all-wheel-drive SUV lineup. Schumacher Subaru of Delray helps drivers from Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and Boca Raton compare Outback trims and current inventory.
This page describes the 2026 model year. Check the year and equipment on each listing; earlier Outback specifications should not be assumed for the redesigned vehicle.
Performance
The 2026 Outback has standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. Its 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER engine produces 180 horsepower; an available turbocharged 2.4-liter engine produces 260 horsepower. Compare the engine, trim and equipment of the vehicle you select.
For daily driving and weekend plans, consider your passenger and cargo needs alongside your preferred powertrain. Our team can help you compare the Outback with Forester and Crosstrek before you request a test drive.
Interior
Compare the seating, upholstery and convenience features on the specific Outback trim you are considering. Roof, audio, seat and other equipment vary by configuration. Review the window sticker and try the cabin and cargo area in person before choosing your vehicle.
Technology
The 2026 Outback introduces a standard 12.1-inch multimedia touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, plus a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. It also includes updated EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. These are 2026 features; the earlier 11.6-inch-screen description does not apply to this redesign.
Ask our team to demonstrate the screen, smartphone pairing and driver-assistance settings on the exact vehicle. Assistance features do not replace an attentive driver.
