Forester Hybrid Returns to the Rebelle Rally
Subaru announced that Carey Lando and Andrea Shaffer will return as Team 200 for the October 7-17, 2026 Rebelle Rally. They will compete in a specially prepared 2025 Forester Hybrid after winning the X-Cross class in 2025. The event combines desert navigation with maps, a compass and roadbooks rather than GPS.
A Modified Competition Vehicle, Not Showroom Equipment
The rally vehicle uses substantial modifications, including a suspension lift, larger tires, underbody protection and recovery equipment. Its competition results do not establish identical capability for a standard Forester Hybrid. Compare the actual equipment and intended use of the vehicle you are considering.

2027 Subaru Impreza: a returning entry trim and more standard power
The 2027 Subaru Impreza lineup introduces a returning entry trim alongside the Impreza RS. Both use a 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER engine rated at 180 horsepower, a continuously variable transmission, standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. For Delray Beach and Boynton Beach shoppers comparing a compact hatchback, the entry trim puts those core features at a lower starting MSRP than the entry-level 2026 Impreza.
Which 2027 Impreza trim fits you?
- Impreza: 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless access, cloth upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control and dual 7-inch touchscreens. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connect through USB.
- Impreza RS: 18-inch alloy wheels, RS cloth upholstery, an 11.6-inch multimedia system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless smartphone charger. Heated front seats, Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert are included. A power moonroof, Harman Kardon audio and power driver seat are offered together in an optional package.
Starting MSRP and destination charges
Subaru announced a $24,595 starting MSRP for the entry Impreza and $29,495 for the RS. Adding the announced $1,245 destination and delivery charge gives $25,840 and $30,740, respectively, before options, taxes, registration and dealer fees. These are manufacturer starting figures, not a quote for a specific Delray vehicle.
