At Subaru, we are proud to welcome those who nurture and educate students in our community to the Subaru VIP Educator Program. Active classroom teachers of PreK-12 schools may be eligible to receive $500 off the purchase or lease of a new Subaru.
Once you negotiate your best price with a Subaru retailer, you'll receive the additional $500 educator discount. In addition, your price will be further reduced by any applicable zone or regional cash incentives in effect at the time of purchase.

Does the educator program apply to used or CPO Subarus?
No. Subaru's VIP program excludes used vehicles. You can still compare pre-owned inventory or explore Subaru Certified Pre-Owned vehicles as separate shopping options.
Can I request the discount after purchasing?
Subaru states that VIP pricing does not apply to sales made before receipt of the approved VIP form. Start the program process before completing a purchase and ask our team to clarify the required sequence.
What should I compare alongside the educator discount?
Compare the complete vehicle price and transaction terms, the equipment you need and the vehicle's availability. Review current Subaru offers and compare buying versus leasing, then confirm which terms and offers apply to your specific transaction. Program eligibility does not establish financing approval.
