Explore the 2026 Subaru WRX in Delray Beach

The WRX combines sports-sedan character with the practicality of four doors. For drivers comparing performance cars in Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Boca Raton and Lake Worth, start with the vehicles listed above and decide which equipment matters for your daily drive.

Turbocharged Power with Standard All-Wheel Drive

The 2026 Subaru WRX has a 271-horsepower, 2.4-liter turbocharged SUBARU BOXER engine, standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and standard EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. The WRX tS adds electronically adjustable dampers tuned by Subaru Tecnica International. Compare the exact trim and transmission when choosing your vehicle; equipment and driving characteristics differ by configuration.

The 2026 WRX is a Consumer Reports Recommended Model. Consumer Reports does not endorse products or services. Driver assistance supports an attentive driver, and traction depends on tires, road conditions and driving inputs.

Compare Your Everyday Driving Priorities

Try the seating position, check passenger space and compare the controls you will use most often. If you prefer a manual transmission, evaluate clutch operation and shifting during your test drive. If you want an automatic, confirm that the selected listing has that transmission. Ask us to demonstrate the driver-assistance and convenience features on the actual vehicle rather than assuming every WRX has the same equipment.

Considering a two-door sports car as well? Explore our Subaru BRZ guide to compare that different driving and passenger-space experience. Our Subaru performance-car guide can help you start with the model that fits your plans.

New WRX Shopping and Historical STI Options

Looking for a WRX STI?

This page's new-vehicle listings are separate from historical WRX STI shopping. If you want an earlier WRX or WRX STI, explore pre-owned WRX inventory and ask about the exact model year and trim. Availability changes, and a WRX listing is not automatically an STI. Review maintenance records, vehicle history, modifications, tires and condition before deciding. Ask which vehicles, if any, are designated Subaru Certified Pre-Owned and review their certification documents.

Confirm Arrival Status Before Your Test Drive

Use the vehicle-status filters above to distinguish on-lot vehicles from incoming listings. A vehicle marked in transit may not be ready to drive or collect. Send the stock number or VIN to our team so we can confirm its location, transmission, trim and current availability. The guide above describes the 2026 WRX; compare each listing's stated model year and equipment when shopping across years.

Prepare Your WRX Quote and Trade Appraisal

Check current Subaru specials, then request an itemized quote for the WRX you select. Compare the vehicle price, applicable incentives, taxes, fees and optional products together. Ask about eligibility and terms for any offer rather than assuming every listing qualifies. If you have a vehicle to trade, begin a Delray trade-in appraisal.

Before visiting, tell us which configuration you are considering and what you want to compare during your drive. Bring your questions about seating, technology, transmission and everyday use so we can focus on the features that matter to you.

Will the Subaru WRX STI Return? News and Future Possibilities

Reviewed October 6, 2026. Future U.S. STI possibilities are speculative and unconfirmed.

STI enthusiasts have real developments to follow. Here is what Subaru has announced, alongside the questions those announcements leave open for drivers in Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and Boca Raton.

Confirmed: Two STI Concepts

On October 29, 2025, Subaru unveiled the Performance-B STI concept and Performance-E STI concept at the Japan Mobility Show. Performance-B explores combustion-engine performance using Subaru technologies including a horizontally opposed engine and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. Performance-E explores battery-electric performance. These are concept vehicles, offering two different directions for Subaru performance development.

Confirmed: Japan-Market WRX STI Sport♯ News

Subaru showcased the WRX STI Sport♯ prototype at Tokyo Auto Salon on January 9, 2026. The announcement explicitly identifies a Japanese model and describes the displayed vehicle as a prototype with STI performance parts. A Japanese-market announcement should not be read as a U.S. retail launch.

Confirmed: Subaru Japan Is Developing New Manual Performance Models

Subaru's Japanese WRX website now describes three manual-transmission models in development, with plans to introduce them by 2027 in that market. They include a WRX using the TY85 transmission previously used in the WRX STI, a BRZ complete car, and a five-door hatchback being developed from the Performance-B STI concept. This moves the story beyond a concept display: Subaru has publicly described production-development plans.

Read Subaru Japan's manual performance-model development update. This Japanese-market update does not confirm a U.S. launch, a U.S. STI model name, pricing, final specifications or vehicles allocated to Schumacher Subaru of Delray.

Our Interpretation: Why Enthusiasts Are Watching

The STI concepts and Subaru Japan's production-development plans give performance enthusiasts meaningful developments to follow. Could one of these directions lead to a future U.S. STI offering? Could familiar STI driving character take a new form for American buyers? Those U.S. possibilities remain our interpretation, rather than announced U.S. specifications. The sources above do not establish a U.S. production WRX STI launch, model year, price, power output, release date or Delray allocation.

Should You Shop a WRX Now or Wait?

Separate what you can drive today from what you hope a future model might offer. Compare the current WRX listings above, including each vehicle's trim and transmission, with your actual driving needs. If the STI badge is essential to your search, review pre-owned WRX listings and confirm whether a particular vehicle is an STI. For future-model questions, ask our Delray team about Subaru performance news; this is an inquiry, not a production-car reservation or preorder.
