Choose Your 2026 Subaru Forester
Start with how you drive around Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Boca Raton and Lake Worth. Compare your preferred powertrain first, then the comfort and convenience features you will use every day. All 2026 Forester trims include Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and EyeSight driver assistance.
Gas or hybrid?
The gasoline lineup has a 180-horsepower 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER engine. Hybrid models have an estimated 194-horsepower total system output. Compare the EPA ratings and price of two actual listings alongside your driving habits. A hybrid is a powertrain choice; Wilderness is a distinct trim with its own equipment.
Comfort worth comparing in South Florida
Premium and higher 2026 trims include a panoramic power moonroof. Touring and Touring Hybrid add ventilated front seats, a feature worth trying during a warm-weather test drive. Upholstery also differs: gasoline Limited has leather-trimmed seating, while Limited Hybrid has StarTex. Sit in both rather than assuming the same trim name means identical cabin materials.
What makes Forester Wilderness different?
The 2026 Wilderness has 9.3 inches of ground clearance versus 8.7 inches on the other 2026 trims. Explore our Subaru Wilderness guide to compare models and decide whether its equipment fits your plans.
Keep your model year in focus
Browse 2026 Forester inventory when you are shopping this model year. Our Forester research provides additional model-year guidance. Subaru has announced the 2027 Forester Wilderness Hybrid; that announcement does not establish a particular vehicle's availability at Delray. For 2025 and older vehicles, explore pre-owned Foresters; a vehicle is Subaru Certified Pre-Owned only when its certification is documented.
What to Check During a Test Drive
Check the rear-seat space, child-seat access if applicable, cargo opening and seating position during a test drive. Compare roof-rail equipment, upholstery, multimedia, moonroof and rear-gate features by trim. Ask for the towing and cargo limits of the exact vehicle rather than relying on a lineup maximum.
Compare Your Purchase Options
Compare the selling price, incentives, dealer fees, taxes and registration costs for the same vehicle. For financing or leasing, review the term, down payment and total cost. Approval and terms depend on the lender and application; inventory and offers can change.
