Optional video: How leasing works
Understand your Subaru lease before choosing a vehicle
Start with the Subaru you want to drive, then compare the complete proposal. Schumacher Subaru of Delray welcomes shoppers from Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, Lake Worth and throughout Palm Beach County.
Leasing pays for use of a vehicle for an agreed term and mileage allowance; it does not give you ownership. Payments account for expected depreciation, a rent charge, taxes and fees. Returning the vehicle and purchasing it are different lease-end choices; any purchase option depends on your agreement.
A checklist for comparing lease quotes
- Choose the exact vehicle: record the model year, trim and VIN or stock number. Ask whether it is available now or incoming.
- Compare the same terms: request the term, mileage allowance, monthly payment and total due at signing together. A down payment is not necessarily the entire signing amount.
- Review the price and charges: ask for an itemized proposal, including taxes, fees, optional products and any trade payoff.
- Match your driving: consider your commute and weekend trips. Check the charge for excess miles, wear and missing equipment.
- Plan for ownership costs: budget for insurance and scheduled maintenance alongside the payment.
- Understand the exit: review early termination, return charges and any purchase option before signing.
Bring these questions to your Delray visit
- Can we compare two trims using the same term and mileage allowance?
- Which advertised incentives apply to this specific vehicle and my application?
- What changes if I adjust the mileage allowance or signing amount?
- Can I take a written proposal home to review?
Approval and program eligibility depend on the lessor's requirements. Ask our team to confirm current vehicle availability and terms; a website estimate is not a finalized agreement.
